The state government has established ‘Nagaland Health Protection Society’ (NHPS) for implementation of the scheme- AB PM-JAY as well as the CMHIS and any other Health Protection Schemes of the Government in the State as entrusted specifically by the State Government. The NHPS will have a Governing Body headed by the Chief Minister, Nagaland, an Executive Committee headed by the Administrative Head of Department of Health & Family Welfare Department; a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The NHPS will also establish District Implementation Units in every district.
